This tutorial shows you how to install Joomla manually on localhost. In this article, we installed Joomla 3, as it is the latest version and recommended for all new projects.
1- Download Joomla full package
Go to Joomla download link and download the Joomla complete package.
2- Extract and upload files
Create a new folder in /Xampp/htdocs.
Copy and extract the download Joomla package to /Xampp/htdocs/New Folder.
Go to PHPMyAdmin and create a new database and copy the database name.
Open your browser and type in URL (localhost/New folder you created first).
Then Joomla installation wizard open.
Give values to all Parameters(Select language, Site Name, Admin Email, click on Username, Password and confirm password ) And click Next.
Give username, Password and Database Name and table prefix.
If you want the have sample data for practice, click on the last tab otherwise click Next.
For security, purpose removes the installation folder.
